Diploma Admission Process

1. Eligibility Criteria
- You must have passed Class 10 (SSC) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Only eligible candidates with these qualifications can appear for the entrance test (AP POLYCET).
2. Entrance Test — AP POLYCET
- AP POLYCET stands for Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test.
- You must appear and obtain a valid score in this exam to qualify for diploma admissions.
Note: Candidates apply and take this exam through the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh (SBTET AP).
3. Application & Registration
- Register for counseling through the official admission/counselling portal specified by the APSCHE or SBTET AP (check official notifications).
- Fill in the application form (online) with accurate personal and academic details.
- Pay the application/admission processing fee as mentioned in the notification.
4. Merit, Counselling & Seat Allocation
- Admissions are done based on your POLYCET rank/score and merit list prepared by the counselling authority.
- Seat allocation follows merit order and reservation rules (as per Andhra Pradesh Government policies).

- Report to the allotted institute (Government Polytechnic, Gudur).
- Get your original documents verified, including:
